The Job Hunting Begins
So, as of today, August the 25th, 2005, I have started to look for a new job. I do not enjoy the hunt as some people do. It is a never ending battle to find the one that you would like to do. Is this job going to suit me? Will I enjoy it? Is it going to be a job that I will look forward to coming in and working with the children? Will I like the staff? These are all things that I do not look forward to finding out. HAHAHAHA.
Really. I do like the hunt. Finding out what each job will entail. Learning about the children and having a relationship with them. I can't wait to be starting at a job that I will like. I don't mind being in retail. I like the women that I help. I just don't like the politics that go on in a retail job. I know. I know. Every job is going to have politics. But will it be better once I am in a job that I want? Working with the children of today, of tomorrow? I think so. For we all have to put up with politics, sometimes in our own homes as well.
Anyways, enough about the job. Just wish me well, and if you all in the field find anything, or know of anything, give me a shout. In advance, thanks for the heads up.
On to other things. Hmmm... I've been watching the Gilmore Girls on DVD. Its an interesting show. What's a girl to do when she can't watch just a few basic channels? Oh well. Its all good. I read more and thats always a good thing.
Death to the Car
So, Himaani has a car. Himaani had a car. Himaani misses her car. Himaani now feels like she has no life without a car. What things is Himaani missing without her car? Grocary shopping, volunteering at the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank (and I really look forward to that), and just getting home at a good time from work at night. Being able to sleep in so that I don't have to get up at 7am to be at work at 9:30am. Any one wanna be my cabby? PLEASE?!!? Out of love for me? What! NO one?!?! Dang it... I guess I didn't make that last payment to the Himaani's Bought Friends Club. Oh well. =P
Well, that's it for now. Anyone wanna make a comment, feel free to do so. Take care, and peace out.
