Well, it’s been a while since I’ve updated this thing. So much had been going on.
First, I have finally moved away from retail, ok, not completely, but mostly. I do miss some aspects of the retail world. I love the helping and educating new mom’s-to-be on how things work. I miss the responsibility of training new hires and just coaching current employees on the proper way of doing things. I don’t miss the royal BS that goes on and I know that there will always be BS in every job.
I am now at a job that I thoroughly enjoy. I wake up in the morning and know that I like this place and the people I work with. There is always training provided to help better yourself. Recognition is given freely and readily. The awards of seeing clients succeed and building relationships is rewarding.
My time has been busy with two weddings that have been very important to me. And they were both very, very beautiful and perfect for each person. It was what I would have thought of for them both for their weddings. Thank you to both for the invitations. I loved it and I cried like a big baby. I love weddings.
CAMPING
I finally went camping after so many years of wanting to go and not being able to do so. I went with a bunch of friends and I loved it. The drinking the food and the fire was so good. The only bad part of it was the mild rain. I got the tent up with two of my girlfriends in the rain and we all got wet, but we had a nice dry place to sleep in my parents 5 man tent. And yes… there were five of us in that tent and it was so hot closer to morning that we really didn’t need all of the blankets that we had in there.
We went for breakfast in a town about 30 minutes or so away. My love of country music was reinstated during the ride to and from Calgary and the campground. Sorry folks, the country is back in this city girl’s life again. Watch out if you get into my car or are listening to my ipod. : D George Strait!!!
